As the Gilmore Girls reboot edges ever closer and the anticipation reaches fever pitch (can it hurry up already, seriously), it seems Netflix are banking on it making them all of the money.
Variety reports that the show’s stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel are each getting paid a whopping $US750,000 (that’s approximately $AU984,000) per episode which makes them the highest-paid talent on a Drama.
The ladies beat out Mark Harmon of NCIS who makes $US525,000 per episode and Kevin Spacey of House of Cards, who rakes in a cool $US500,000.
Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Kit Harrington, Emilia Clarke and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau of Game of Thrones all make $US500,000 per episode.
Graham and Bledel were only beat out by the stars of The Big Bang Theory Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki who make $US1 million per episode and who topped the Comedy category.
In other categories, Judy Sheindlin of Judge Judy tops the list of reality/host/news stars taking in an estimated $US47 million per year over the Today show’s Matt Lauer who makes an estimated $22 million per year.
