The series stars Jeff Daniels as Frank Griffin, the outlaw hunting down his former partner Roy Goode (Jack O’Connell). Plus, Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery ditches her aristocratic finery for a shotgun for this gritty Western drama.
The series has received rave reviews from both critics and punters, with The Guardian awarding the series a sterling five stars.
“I was looking at the role and I didn’t know how to do it,” Daniels told E! News.“Which meant that if I did it, I would be risking failure, so I’m at least challenged that I can’t just show up and do what I’ve done before in something else. That’s always a reason to dive into something.”
