When searching for the wedding dress of your dreams, it's not uncommon to look to sources of inspiration to help guide that decision. Because, with so many brands, styles and fabrics to choose from, it can be easy to find yourself in an endless stream of dresses to pick. Now we've found a collection that's been created solely with the wearer in mind.
Cult bridal label Grace Loves Lace has taken some of the decision-making out of it, creating a capsule collection based on the feedback of over 80,000 brides from around the world. Surveyed over a 12-month period, the women included those aged between 18 and 60, all in a diverse size range, too.
Unsurprisingly, brides were looking for dresses with lace, high-necklines, covered arms and slip-on fits, all ranging in prices under $2,500. The results are three gowns - Vita, Anais and Luca - stitched to bridal perfection by the QLD-based brand.
The Vita gown was based on women who were looking for a Low-V neckline, long sleeves and a fuller skirt. “Vita is everything! The stretch lace features an abstract pattern with a dimensional contrast of matte and pearlescent thread that shimmers in the light and illuminates the wearer; making an unforgettable statement!” Head Designer, Rosie Keating said.
This striking gown features a low V neckline, open back and A-line skirt shape to flatter the figure perfectly, something the brand found that many brides all over the world were seeking. “Anais is the epitome of effortless elegance. Her delicate eyelash trim and covered buttons add just the right amount of detail. Pair with statement earrings or a matching veil to truly make this dress your own,” Keating said.
This gown was inspired by one of the brand’s signature gowns, the Orla. Soon after development began, the Luca gown took on a life of its own, created using Grace Loves Lace's exclusive, shimmering Pearl Lace. “Luca is the perfect combination of an iconic GRACE silhouette and signature pearlescent lace. Featuring a high neck, long fitted sleeves and daring low back, the flattering fishtail silhouette emulates the perfect balance of sophistication and sexiness,” Keating said.
The collection is available now on Grace Loves Lace.
