Tell me more, tell me more! Grease is getting a reunion with Olivia Newton-John herself confirming that she will be reprising the role of Sandy and John Travolta will be back to play Danny.
The film is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2018, and while Newton-John tells The Sun that they will be celebrating it somehow, they are not sure what form the reunion will happen in at this stage.
“We are thinking up ways,” she said.
“[We have] nothing to announce yet. Forty-year anniversary of Grease, which I can’t believe …
“Time goes so fast. It’s so exciting.”

She has mentioned in the past that she hoped she would be able to celebrate the anniversary by helping out at the hospital she works at, but wasn’t sure if she’d be able to round up the cast for it.
John Travolta has yet to comment on the reunion, but there’s sure to be more info in the months to come.
Olivia Newton-John has also mentioned that she’s ready to start slowing down with work soon.
“As time goes on, I think of having more time off.”
