This Greek Island Sanctuary Wants To Pay Someone To Live With Cats

Yes, this is a real thing

In what has just skyrocketed to become the best job listing of all time (that’s right, even better than being Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s assistant), a Greek Island cat sanctuary is looking for someone to take care of their rescue cats.

The successful candidate will relocate to the Greek island of Syros where they will be housed for free (!!) in a home with a garden and views of the Aegean Sea.

Oh, and there are cats! Did we mention the cats?

The part-time job at God’s Little People Cat Rescue entails looking after the island’s 55 rescue kittys and is for “a mature and genuinely passionate cat lover who knows how to handle many cats and would love their company.”

BRB, just resigning from my job.

“You’ll no doubt thrive best if you are the type of person who appreciates nature and likes tranquillity — and rest comfortably in your own company,” the posting reads, noting that the island is a little secluded in winter.

“That said, you’ll never feel lonely in the company of the cats and you’ll be expected to live with a small handful of cats in your house,” it continues,  also calling for candidates with “cat-whispering skills.”

The job is long term and a minimum of six months is required (but who would ever want to leave?), beginning November 1st 2018.
