It is one of the biggest honours in the modelling world to be asked to walk the runway of The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, but not all the models you see on the runway hold the coveted title of ‘Angel’.
The Victoria’s Secret Angels are those models who not only walk in the show but are the face for the lingerie brand all year round.
It is a massive accolade to receive angel status (there are currently just 14 Angels), with legendary supermodels such as Gisele Bündchen, Heidi Klum and Miranda Kerr all earning their wings for the famous lingerie brand.

Adriana Lima
Brazilian born Adriana Lima (37 years old) is the longest-running Victoria’s Secret Angel ever, earning her wings in 2000 when she was just 19 years old. Lima has worn The Fantasy Bra a grand total of three times and is arguably the most recognisable face of Victoria’s Secret.
Elsa Hosk
Swedish born model Elsa Hosk (29 years old) first walked in Victoria’s Secret in 2011 and received her wings in 2015.
Romee Strijd
23-year-old Dutch beauty Romee Strijd first walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2014 and got her wings just a year later.
Alessandra Ambrósio
Alessandra Ambrósio (37 years old) is a Brazilian model, actress and mother. Ambrósio’s first walk was in 2000 and she has been an angel since 2004.
Jasmine Tookes
American model Jasmine Tookes (27 years old) first walked the Victoria’s Secret runway in 2012 and was given her wings in 2015. Tookes wore the most expensive Fantasy Bra ever (worth an eye-watering $3 million) in 2016.
Sara Sampaio
The Portuguese beauty (27 years old) walked her first show in 2013 and got her wings in 2015.
Behati Prinsloo
Behati Prinsloo (30 years old) from Namibia first walked in Victoria’s Secret in 2008 and became a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2009.
Josephine Skriver
Josephine Skriver (25 years old) is a Danish model and first walked Victoria’s Secret in 2013. Skriver is the newest Angel having received her wings in 2016.
Stella Maxwell
Stella Maxwell (28 years old) is a Belgian-New Zealander model. Her first walk for Victoria’s Secret was in 2014, and she received her wings in 2015.
Candice Swanepoel
Candice Swanepoel (29 years old) is a South African model. Her first walk was in 2007, and she reached Angel status in 2010.
Lais Ribeiro
Lais Ribeiro (27 years old) from Brazil first walked in Victoria’s Secret in 2010 and became an Angel in 2015. Last year Ribeiro was chosen to wear the “Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra” for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Taylor Hill
American born Taylor Hill (22 years old) first walked Victoria’s Secret in 2014 and got her wings in 2015.

Californian born Lily Aldridge (32 years old) walked in her first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2009 and received her wings in 2010.
