Since Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin "consciously uncoupled" in 2014, the actress and musician have been the definition of ex goals. From making statements about loving each other to family holidays with their new partners, these two are proof it's possible to continue a friendship after a divorce.
Just this week, it was reported that Martin had gotten back together with his girlfriend of two years, Fifty Shades of Grey actress Dakota Johnson, and now it's been revealed that Paltrow played a big part in the couple's reconciliation.
After the two went their separate ways in June, Paltrow decided to play matchmaker. "Gwyneth is the one who pushed them to do it," a source told Us Weekly.
Johnson and Martin's renewed romance made headlines last week after they were spotted together two nights in a row. A source told E! that the couple, who were together for two years before ending their relationship in June, is "planning to spend more time together later this summer."
