Here’s How To Update Your Hair, Without The Comittment

Keep your hair looking fresh with these ideas

Change, without the committment

Want to shake up your hair look without actually changing anything? Here are some ideas to keep your hair looking fresh.

Invest in accessories

“Embellishments are the big thing of the moment,” says Shane Henning, creative director at Noddys on King in Sydney and global master for Goldwell. “Try putting little ornaments or jewellery into your hair or wrapping a scarf in and around the hair.” Make like Emma Watson with these gorgeous gold clips.

Switch up your styling products

“Products can achieve different textures and can really make a big difference while being comittment free,” says Joey Scandizzo, celebrity stylist and co-founder of Eleven Australia.

Fake a fringe

Emily Ratajkowski knows the benefits of faking bangs. “You can get a faux fringe from a wig store,” says Henning. But take it to a professional before you clip it in. “You need a hairdresser to trim it to size.”

Dry it differently

“Finger waving gelled hair, or curling it with a diffuser to get maximum volume, are two dramatic options to temporarily change up your hair,” advises Henning.

Rethink your part

“Just changing the side you part your hair can make a huge different to your style,” suggests Scandizzo.
