Edwards adds, “With the H&M collaboration, we want women all over the world to live a more confident, vibrant, fashionable life whilst juggling her fast-paced urban existence. The collection can be worn all day, every day, whilst being flexible, functional and style-led. All the pieces work so well together – it’s very easy to mix and match."
As for how it feels to be the first Australian collaboration to work with the Swedish fashion giant, Tregoning and Edwards are "honoured".
"I think what's amazing is to be part of their collaboration portfolio," says Edwards. "You're in the realm of Alexander Wang, Stella McCartney, Giambattista Valli and Balmain. As an Australian brand, we're f*cking proud."
You can expect to see the P.E. Nation DNA weaved throughout the collaboration, with figure-flattering leggings and colour-blocked sprays at the forefront. You'll also find large logos and tie-dye mixed amongst elastic waistbands and zip detailing. The activewear, T-shirts, skirts, swimwear and undergarments have the distinctive P.E Nation retro vibe that we've come to expect, with both classic and new colours mixed in including mint green, grey marle and tan.
The collaboration will be available in stores worldwide as well as on hm.com from March 5.
