Whether you’re a fan of Christmas tunes or not, it’s unlikely that you’ll make it through December without hearing Mariah Carey’s seasonal smash hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You”.

And all that airtime is making the singer some serious coin.

The Economist has reported that Carey has made more than $60 million in royalties from the song since its release in 1994.

It’s racked up sales of over 16 million copies making it the 11th best-selling single of all time.

The song’s co-writer, composer Walter Afanasieff, previously said that he didn’t actually like the song that much to begin with.

“At the time, I thought it was overly simple, and I really didn’t like it,” he said in an interview for the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. “The oversimplified melody, I guess, that made it so easily palatable for the whole world to go ‘Oh, I can’t get that out of my head.’”
