NASA Says Having This Plant In Your Bedroom Could Cure Snoring

Beauty sleep is on the way

Snoring sufferers can breathe a sigh of relief and sleep easy at last, as NASA claims there’s a simple way to stop snoring – and it won’t cost you a cent.

According to the NASA studies, pineapple plants produce oxygen and improve air quality throughout the night. Better in-room air quality leads to more open airways, and the end result is a quieter, more restful sleep.

This info is coming from British supermarket Asda, which recently stocked the quirky miracle plant on its shelves. Phil Smith, a buyer for the store, commented to the Daily Mail that for chronic snorers the plant “could be a dream come true – even more so for sleep-deprived partners.”

NASA has also mentioned aloe vera, Areca plants and Boston ferns for their air purifying abilities and experts have long preached the stress-reducing benefits of houseplants in general.

Health benefits aside, plants give any room a fun, fresh look – and pineapple plants are uniquely cute.

They can be hard to find in Oz, but you can find one cheap if you hunt around at a local nursery or look online.

Better yet, if you’ve got more time to burn than cash to splash, look online for a DIY tutorial to grow one using the top of a shop bought pineapple! Just scoop out all the fruit flesh, pull off all the bottom leaves, and stick your little baby pineapple plant in the soil so it sits straight up.

After all, the best zzzs in life are free…
