Everything You Need To See From Hugo Boss’ New York Fashion Week Show

We want it all

Mere hours after announcing his departure from Hugo Boss, Jason Wu presented his last collection for the iconic German house.

The designer, who has been womenswear artistic director for the past five years, used the occasion to showcase a stunning, minimalist Autumn/Winter 2018 collection, inspired by New York-based artist Robert Morris.

Victoria Beckham, eat your heart out.

Instead of the usual NYFW runway show, BOSS instead held a presentation with models walking a dimly lit runway to stand on a podium.

Another notable difference was the decision to leave models of the moment – such as Kaia Gerber, Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid – from the line-up, instead, keeping the focus solely on the collection.

And as far as that collection goes, colours such as royal blue and pale yellow sat amongst a darker palette of grey and black hues, with feminine silhouettes meeting raw-cut edges.

Below, everything you need to see from Hugo Boss’ NYFW Gallery Presentation.
