Surrounded by lush greenery and a spectacular waterfall, Shayk posed in a black Intimissimi bodysuit (just FYI for those interested, the bodysuit is just $27).
While many celebs took to the pic to praise Shayk, one particular like is making headlines – Lady Gaga’s ex Christian Carino. While it may just be a coincidence, fans couldn’t help but point out the irony in the social media activity.

Cooper and Shayk, who are parents to 2-year-old daughter Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper, have been the subject of breakup rumours for months. During this year’s award season, split speculation began to mount Shayk and Cooper’s relationship was struggling due to his undeniable chemistry with A Star Is Born co-star Lady Gaga. Gaga even had to set the record straight, shutting down romance rumours involving her and Cooper.
However, the couple has kept their relationship private from the very beginning, rarely commenting about their romance to the media. The pair first sparked relationship rumours in April 2015 when they were spotted attending a Broadway show together. After that time, cameras continued to spot Cooper and Shayk together at places around the world, which seemingly confirmed their romance.
Ever since Lady Gaga was cast alongside Bradley Cooper in A Star Is Born, things changed for the actor and his then-girlfriend Irina Shayk, reports suggest. Gaga and Cooper’s sizzling energy and palpable connection sent the Internet into overdrive, and the rumour mill was rampant with “love affair” claims.
A source told People that it was ultimately Cooper’s dedication to A Star Is Born that was responsible for their split. “Bradley was emotionally absent during a long time filming A Star Is Born,” the source said. “They tried to save the relationship but it had changed.”

Neither Cooper or Shayk have directly commented on the breakdown of their relationship, but fans are convinced that Lady Gaga was the cause of the estrangement. Adding fuel to the fire, Gaga addressed the Hollywood couple’s split during a performance at her Enigma show in Las Vegas. In a video captured by an audience member, the actress discusses how the world tried to make her conform to a certain standard because “everything was too gay.”
“I remember saying, ‘Well, I don’t see it that way but there are also gay people in the world’. They told me it wouldn’t work and they tried to change me but I never let them,” the 33-year-old emotionally explains. “And you know why? Because I thought they were shallow.”
Just as the singer begins to sing her and Bradley’s famous song, she says, “Be kind, be kind or f-ck off”.
Although it may seem farfetched, people are claiming Gaga’s choice of song and her words – especially amidst the controversy surrounding her relationship with Cooper – are pointed.
But, as Lady Gaga previously clarified, they never dated and were simply dedicated to the passion project. “First of all, like, social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet. What it has done to pop culture is just, like, abysmal…Yes, people saw love and – guess what – that’s what we wanted you to see,” she explained during an interview earlier this year.
