If you blinked, you could have missed it. But way back in 2010, a certain newly appointed U.S political advisor appeared on the silver screen hit, Gossip Girl.
Starring as none other than herself, Ivanka Trump is featured during season four’s episode six ‘Easy J’, where her and husband, Jared Kushner, are being toasted at a New York Observer party.
An always poised Ivanka smiles in a glittering silver dress while Jared shakes hands with GG star, Serena van der Woodsen’s love-interest, Colin, who accepts an award for Bachelor of the Year.
Really, the scene doesn’t seem too far removed from the pair’s regular lifestyle.
“Thank you, Jared, and thank you, Ivanka, for marrying Jared and giving someone else the chance to win Bachelor this year,” says Colin, played by actor Sam Page.

Speaking to Instyle in 2010, Ivanka confessed her love for the popular drama series, revealing, “I never miss an episode… I think I’m a cross between Blair Waldorf and Lily van der Woodsen when it comes to the style. I like the uptown city style and a clean-cut, streamlined silhouette.”
This comparison is fitting seeing as Lily van der Woodsen has worn luxury pieces from Ivanka’s jewellery line during the show.
Other notable GG cameos are that of Karlie Kloss – the supermodel showed up at one of the classic Upper East Side parties – and Alexa Chung who refused to walk in one of Blair’s mum’s fashion shows.
