As Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner (newly named senior White House adviser) stood loud and proud behind Donald Trump as he was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States of America over the weekend, her brother-in-law had vastly different plans.
Joshua Kushner, younger brother to Jared, boyfriend of model Karlie Kloss and “lifelong democrat” was spotted amongst the some 470,000 strong crowd at the Women’s March in Washington DC this weekend.
The Washingtonian editor Jessica Sidman spotted the 31-year-old standing in the crowd of protesters wearing pink knit cap, tweeting the image she wrote, “Oh hey, it’s Jared Kushner’s brother at the #WomansMarch.”
She also added, “Another #WomensMarch marcher spotted Joshua Kushner, asked if he was Jared’s brother. He (reluctantly) admitted yes, said he was ‘observing’”.
It seems however that there is no bad blood between the brothers, with Josh later Instagramming a photo with his brother at the White House in front of a portrait of John F. Kennedy.
Josh, who has previously declined to comment on his brother’s connection to Trump, was there to support Jared as he was officially sworn in as a senior member of the president’s staff.
