Jen Hawke Says Blake Colman Is A Danger To ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Stars

"The whole issue with Blake is, it is domestic abuse"

Ex-Bachelor contestant Jen Hawke has spoken out about her ex-boyfriend, ex-Bachelorette contestant Blake Colman, saying that Colman was abusive during their relationship and that he is a danger to Bachelor In Paradise stars.

Colman, who’s been spotted on the way to Fiji for filming of the new reality TV show, was convicted this year of violently assaulting a stranger back in 2015.

Police are also currently investigating claims he threatened revenge porn against Hawke after their brief relationship ended earlier this year.

The Daily Mail reports that police have also confirmed that Hawke sought an AVO against Colman that would prevent him from entering her home state of New South Wales.

Now Hawke has opened up, telling Now To Love that she wants to be a role model for other women in similar situations.

“What I really want women to know is that domestic abuse isn’t just a violent act against you. It is someone emotionally intimidating you, it is someone emotionally manipulating you,” she says.

“The whole issue with Blake is, it is domestic abuse,” she continues. “It is violence against women. It is harassment against women. We need to talk about it and not put the blame game on women and say, ‘she’s asking for it! She chose to be with that person.’”

“Blake and I have nothing to do with each other and the police are doing their job at the moment, that’s all I’m really allowed to say about it while the investigation is ongoing.”

Channel Ten is yet to respond to the claims, however, it’s pretty absurd that they’re giving further airtime to a man convicted of assault and accused of domestic abuse and revenge porn.
