Yesterday it was reported that Channing Tatum has been secretly dating singer Jessie J for the past few months. After Channing was spotted at Jessie J’s concerts, reports surfaced that the pair’s relationship is “new, casual and they’re having fun together.”
Channing and Jenna Dewan announced their separation, after meeting on the set of Step Up and spending almost nine years together, in April. The pair share a daughter, Everly, and – according to sources – Jenna doesn’t care who Channing dates, as long as he puts Everly first.
“Jenna knew that Channing was dating and it wasn’t a surprise,” a source told E! News. “A friend had told her what was going on.”
“She doesn’t really care what Channing does as long as he’s being there for [their daughter] Everly. Jenna’s dating too and they are both moving on with their lives,” they added.
“Everything is very new but Channing and Jessie J have known each other from a distance for a while,” another source told E! News of Channing’s relationship with Jessie J.
“Channing has very recently made efforts to get to know her better and pursue Jessie on a romantic level,” a source close to Jessie J shared with us. “Channing has made his intentions known and thus far, Jessie J thinks he’s a very nice down-to-earth guy and a gentleman.”
