The Golden Globes are finally upon us and as the first award show of the decade, there’s no doubt that some of Hollywood's biggest names will be in attendance. Like any awards show, the Golden Globes is also the perfect opportunity for celebrities to catch up with their equally famous friends, colleagues and of course, ex-partners, and it seems like Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are no exception!
The famous actors have both been spotted walking the red carpet at today’s award show – the first time in 15 years that the ex-couple has attended the same awards ceremony. Aniston, oozed confidence in an incredible custom Dior gown that screamed red carpet chic, while Pitt opted for a perfectly tailored classic black suit with a bowtie.
While on said red carpet, Pitt spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the possibility of a reunion.
"I'll run into Jen, she's a good friend. Yeah," the Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood actor told the outlet after the host explained that many fans were hoping to see a photo of the former couple together at the show.
"The second most important reunion of her year? I understand," he teased, before adding: "That was a play on Friends. They were saying that."
As two of the most high profile nominees of the night – Pitt for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture for his role in Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood, and Aniston for Best Performance by an Actress In A Television Series - Drama for her role in The Morning Show – it has been rumoured that the pair will be sitting near each other during the night’s award ceremony.
And although we don’t know for certain whether either of them will attend, it has been reported that both Aniston and Pitt’s names have been spotted on the official guest list for one of the Golden Globe’s most exclusive afterparties.
Just last month, it was reported that Aniston had invited her ex-husband to her annual holiday party, which wasn’t the first soiree Pitt had attended in recent years. He was also spotted at Aniston’s 50th birthday celebrations in February 2019, which was held at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles.
If 2020 has more Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reunions to come, then we’re definitely here for it!
