The Morning Wars star revealed that her co-star and close friend Reese Witherspoon had a moment with Beyoncé during the ceremony, when Witherspoon lent over to her and husband Jay-Z’s table to ask for a glass of champagne that their bodyguard especially brought in. Yes, you read that correctly. Two bottles of Armand de Brignac Champagne specifically for the couple’s table.
Aniston shared the tale, writing, “Reese!? This is one of the many reasons I love you,” over a selfie of two of them. “We ran out of water at our table. So naturally, she asked Jay Z and Beyoncé for a glass of their champagne.”
Champagne as a substitute for water? Seems like a reasonable replacement to us.
Naturally, both Aniston and Witherspoon shone at yesterday’s award show; Jen opting for a stunning and dramatic Christian Dior charcoal gown while Reese looked angelic in a custom white Roland Mouret dress.
Rumour has it that Aniston and her ex-husband, Brad Pitt had a brief reunion at CAA’s Globes after party, a source telling E! News that “They said hello very quickly. Jen arrived after Brad. It was brief, but [they] were very cordial and friendly and seemed happy to be there.”
“They approached each other once they saw each other inside and looked happy as they started to hug and say hello. Jen whispered something to Brad, but it wasn’t in an affectionate way. They both didn’t seem like they wanted to make a big deal about being together in the same room although it was a private party. They were trying to be low-key. Brad left shortly after and didn’t stay at the party long.”
