The brains over at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have created a product that tightens under-eye skin, and licensed the resulting technology to just two companies – including Living Proof, which counts Aniston as an investor.
Eight years in the making, the ‘second skin’ is a super sticky, strong and stretchy polymer that MIT scientist Robert Langer likened to “invisible Spanx” (we like the sound of that).
It’s basically two creams that, when layered, form an invisible film that immediately smooths and firms the skin. It can be applied daily and lasts up to 16 hours.
Living Proof expects to launch the product once they receive approval from the US Food and Drug Administration Agency.
