Former Miss Universe, Jennifer Hawkins, and her property developer husband, Jake Wall, have welcomed their second child, a beautiful baby boy who happens to sport a rock star name.
Taking to Instagram back in July this year, Hawkins revealed that she was pregnant, when sharing a series of photos where the 37-year-old can be seen cradling a baby bump.
“Jake and I are so happy to share that we are expecting a baby BOY!” she captioned the post. “We both feel really blessed and couldn’t be happier to grow our little family! Can’t wait to see our Frankie girl as a big sis!”
The couple, who were married in an intimate ceremony on the picturesque Indonesian island of Bali in 2013, also share a gorgeous two-year-old daughter, named Frankie Violet.
As for Frankie, she has clearly developed her mother’s genetics, given that she’s already a modelling success like her mother, when gracing the cover of marie claire Australia’s May 2020 issue.
Continuing the theme of unique names, Hawkins revealed on social media that her son has been named Hendrix, seemingly after celebrated rock star Jimi Hendrix.
In a doting Instagram post, Hawkins gushed about her newborn, writing, “welcome to the world our sweet boy.” She also shared a special series of images of her precious bundle of joy embraced in her and Wall’s arms.
Hawkins revealed further details of the birth, asserting, “what a week it’s been! Our little man wanted to say hello to the world earlier than expected and has needed some extra care but is now doing so well and is healthy and strong! We could not be more grateful or more in love!”
Many of Hawkins famous friends, including beauty mogul, author and super-mum, Zoë Foster Blake, Keep It Cleaner co-founder Steph Claire Smith and fellow model Jesinta Franklin, shared their well-wishes for the bub.
Commenting on the post, Foster Blake—who shares two cute children with comedian husband Hamish Blake—congratulated Hawkins, adding, “you’re officially an awesome foursome! Congratulations, welcome, and hello Hendrix”.
Claire Smith, who welcomed her own child earlier this year, commented, “so cute and so tiny! Congrats lovely! Welcome to the world Hendrix”.
With a supermodel mother, we’re sure that Hendrix will be taking after his namesake and following in the famous ’60’s musician in no time.
