A new lawsuit has revealed disturbing details about an alleged incident between an unnamed actress and disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein.

In the lawsuit, the actress claims Weinstein bragged about having “slept with Jennifer Lawrence” while he sexually assaulted her.

During a meeting at Weinstein’s office about a script, the woman alleges Weinstein knelt in front of her while she was sitting on his couch and said she smelled good, before touching her and moaning.

The woman says she moved away and “begged him to stop” but instead Weinstein forcibly performed oral sex on her.

After she began to sob, the woman alleges Weinstein “began lecturing her about how he and his people were all trying to help her, and asked her, ‘do you even want to be an actress?’”

“He expressly reminded her that he was the gatekeeper to her dream by claiming, ‘I slept with Jennifer Lawrence and look where she is; she has just won an Oscar’.”

Lawrence won an Oscar for her role in 2012’s Silver Linings Playbook, which was produced by The Weinstein Company.

Lawrence issued a statement addressing the claim, saying, “My heart breaks for all the women who were victimised by Harvey Weinstein. I have never had anything but a professional relationship with him. This is yet another example of the predatory tactics and lies that he engaged in to lure countless women.”

The actress who filed the lawsuit says she confronted Weinstein about his behaviour after the attack and he responded by saying, “Don’t be such a prude. I didn’t even fuck you.” He then threatened her career and continued to engage in sexual misconduct on several other subsequent occasions.

A representative for Weinstein denied the lawsuit’s claims and said, “Mr. Weinstein is embarrassed for Ms. Lawrence with whom he has only had a professional and respectful relationship, who has sadly been dragged into this ugly attempt at defamation.”
