Jennifer Lawrence usually stays pretty quiet about her personal life. Though the 26-year-old Oscar-winning actress has been linked to director Darren Aronofsky over the past year, neither party has ever confirmed their romance.
However, over the past week, Lawrence has unwittingly been thrown into the middle of a media storm, following the announcement of Chris Pratt and Anna Faris' separation.
Immediately, people started blaming her for the beloved Hollywood couple's marriage breakdown, saying it must be due to affair rumours that surrounded Lawrence and Pratt during filming for their movie Passengers.
Now, the actress has put the rumours to bed, confirming her year-long relationship with Aronofsky, the director of her new film and a man 22-years her senior.
'"We had energy,” Lawrence tells Vogue US of meeting Aronofsky on the set of mother!, before adding: "I had energy for him. I don’t know how he felt about me."
“I normally don’t like Harvard people, because they can’t go two minutes without mentioning that they went to Harvard...He’s not like that," she continues, before revealing that he's "not a snobby Harvard man."
“When I saw the movie, I was reminded all over again how brilliant he is,” she says of watching mother! for the first time. “For the past year, I’ve been dealing with him as just a human.” Lawrence then praised her boyfriend as an “amazing father”, before saying: “I’ve been in relationships before where I am just confused. And I’m never confused with him.”
