Speaking on Sunrise, the 26-year-old says Buddy helped to calm her while on set of their cover shoot.
“It was definitely a different experience," Jesinta explains. "I’ve shot a lot of covers over the years but to have him on set was really nice."
"It was actually really calming for me,” she continues. “He’s got a really calm energy, Bud, usually I get quite excited and anxious on set so it was nice to have him there.”
The couple, who wed in November 2016, have been married just over a year, but Jensinta says their day to day hasn't changed.
"I don’t think our relationship changed at all," she says. "On [your wedding] day you do feel like there’s a deeper connection, but I don’t think the day to day changes, I still yell at him for not putting the bins out on a Thursday morning," she laughs.
The pair is collaborating for Dior's Valentine's Day campaign - Jesinta for Miss Dior; Buddy for the just-launched Sauvage Eau De Parfum - which Jesinta says is fitting, as Buddy's most romantic gesture was actually buying her a bottle of Miss Dior back in 2013.
“He’s romantic in his own Buddy way," she says of her husband.
"For me, romance is in the simple things, so if I come home and the house is clean and there’s dinner on the table, that’s the most romantic gesture."
"The most romantic thing he ever did for me - this is when he asked me to be his girlfriend officially - was when he bought me a perfume."
"He was when he came back from the international tour in Ireland in 2013 and that perfume was Miss Dior. I still have the empty bottle today," she smiles.
