As a beauty entrepreneur and former Victoria’s Secret model, Jess Hart knows a thing or two about getting ready for a big event. Considering she spends most of her life in hair and make-up, in front of the camera and dressed up for special occasions, the model is the perfect person to quiz on all things fashion and beauty.
In the lead up to Mercedes-Benz Ladies Day in Melbourne, Hart shared her favourite ways to dress up, especially coming into the cooler weather. Citing her own brand Luma as her favourite for prepping her face, Hart explains her favourite new autumn product.
“From a beauty perspective, my favourite autumn trend is Lady Luck Lip & Cheek tint from Luma. The warm tone suits most skin colours and types and the hues are perfectly suited to autumn weather,” she says, adding that a highlighter is a must for a big event.
Her skincare routine is also switched up as the weather cools down, adding in hydrating elements to ensure her skin doesn’t dry out. “My beauty routine is more or less the same all year round, although as the temperature starts to drop my skin usually gets quite dry so I’ll use a heavier moisturiser or double up on my face oil,” Hart says.
When it comes to dressing up, Hart is all about packing on the colour. Wearing a bright look for Ladies Day, Hart chose sparkly accessories from Edie Parker and Saint Laurent to finish her look, citing “Bright, bold colours, lots of accessories and a smile!” as her trick to being the best dressed on the day.
