Can you believe John Legend is 40? We can’t, but he is. How do we know? In case you haven’t already seen it via Kim Kardashian West’s Instagram, he just threw the most epic 40th birthday we’ve ever seen.
Turning their house into a casino for the night, Chrissy Teigen and Legend hosted their best friends for a James Bond, Casino Royale-themed party which saw guests don their black tie best for the celebrity-packed event.
For Kim Kardashian West, this meant an Alexander Wang mesh bodysuit, which she wore with stilettos and not much else. Flying in late for the party, the reality TV star arrived to Los Angeles from San Francisco where she was attending another party. Arriving to Legend’s bash with her husband, Kanye West, we have to admit the pair were the best dressed guests on the night — because nobody does a naked dress, or catsuit, like a Kardashian.
Teigen opted for a shimmering gold dress, while Legend was dressed in a smart tuxedo. Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Corey Gamble and Jesse Tyler Ferguson were also in attendance, all indulging in the Bond-themed photobooth. In celebration of her husband, Teigen gave a moving speech and Legend said a few words, too. Even the pair’s children, Luna, 2, and Miles, four months, got in on the fun, dressing up for the occasion. See inside the event below.
