Over the weekend, Justin Timberlake was spotted holding hands with his co-star Alisha Wainwright during a night out in New Orleans where the pair are filming for a new movie.
The pair, who play lovers in the upcoming film Palmer, were with a group of other cast and crew, but it was onlookers who saw Timberlake placing his hands on Wainwright’s leg, as well as the two briefly holding hands under the table that had eyebrows raised.
Though Timberlake’s lack of wedding ring – he has been married to Jessica Biel since 2012 – could be explained by the group coming to the bar straight from set, sources told The Sun that “At one stage he grabbed her hand and rested it on his knee. She then gently started stroking his leg.” They continued: “Then he clutched her hand with both of his and was playing with her hands.”
Timberlake looked intoxicated and at one point was pulled inside by someone who looked to be part of his team. You can see the photos here.
In response to the reports, a source has told E! News that “there is absolutely nothing going on between [Timberlake and Wainwright].”
“They were out with all the cast, crew, makeup artists, and everyone was just hanging out in a social setting,” the source continued. “They are just working together. No validity to any other rumor other than that they are filming together.”
