Over the weekend, Justin Timberlake made headline for all the wrong reasons. The singer and actor was in New Orleans filming a new movie when he was photographed holding hands with his co-star Alisha Wainwright at a bar sans wedding ring, despite being married to Jessica Biel since 2012.
Following the reports, multiple sources spoke out to deny anything is going on between Justin and Alisha, saying they were out with all of the cast and crew and that the touching was innocent.
As for where Justin and Jessica’s marriage stands? “They are downplaying everything and trying to laugh it off as nothing,” a source has told E! News. “But it was definitely inappropriate and something that would make any wife uncomfortable,” they continued.
“He had too much to drink and got carried away.”
Thankfully, it seems as though the famous couple isn’t going to be ending their marriage over this.
They are “going to move on from this, “the source continued. “Their marriage will survive. He feels guilty and will make it up to her. She is very good to him and he knows how lucky he is. He says it was not a big deal, they were all hanging out together and that’s the end of the story.”
Over the weekend, Wainwright’s rep released a statement to People saying, “There is no validity to this speculation. They are currently working on a project together. Members of the cast and crew were all together.”
