The humble hair accessory is having a moment of late, proving to be one of the biggest beauty trends of 2019. Hair accessories haven’t just been blowing up on the runway – everyone from the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton to Alexa Chung and Margot Robbie, have all embraced the trend. Adorning their tresses with oh so pretty details such as velvet bows and boujee designer hair clips.
The Givenchy couture spring/summer 2019 show, which took place in Paris yesterday evening, saw model Kaia Gerber walk the runway wearing a jumbo pearl and diamond encrusted headband. Styled with a sleek low ponytail, giving the hairstyle a modern and fresh twist.
High-end make-up extraordinaire Pat McGrath kept the rest of the look simple; forgoing lip and cheek colour in favour of kohl liner along the waterline for eyes and brushed up brows.
