Kate is currently spending the holidays in Sandringham, with her husband, Prince William and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, alongside the rest of the royals. Just last Sunday, the Duke and Duchess were photographed attending church with Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton and Queen Elizabeth; after which, the couple invited their friends over for the celebrations.

According to People, Kate and Will invited their close family and friends to their country home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk, with some of the guests also joining them at church before the shindig began. Spotted with the couple were Rose Hanbury, Marchioness of Cholmondeley, family friend Thomas van Straubenzee, and his wife, Lucy Lanigan-O’Keeffe, who is a teacher at Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s school.

The Duchess has celebrated her birthday in a similar fashion before – last year, also attending church with friends before hosting a birthday bash. She also reportedly had her nearest and dearest join her for high tea at her Kensington Palace home. We can only imagine the goodies and sweets that would have been on offer!
