While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are on their royal tour of South Africa, Kate Middleton and Prince William are holding down the fort back at home, attending the naming ceremony of the UK’s new polar research ship, the #RRSSirDavidAttenborough, at Birkenhead overnight.
Over the past few days, the Duchess of Sussex has been rewearing items from her visit to Australia last year, including dresses by Martin Grant and Veronica Beard, something the Duchess of Cambridge has been doing for years. Case in point: the Alexander McQueen sky blue utility coat, which she wore to her latest appearance and which she has owned since at least 2014.
Alongside her go-to winter outfit, Kate accessorised with a brand new clutch by London designer Asprey. The bag comes with a removable adjustable shoulder strap, which Kate chose not to use today, opting instead to hold it in her hands, something which is rumoured to help her feel like she has something to do with her hands in awkward situations.
The best part? The clutch is still available to shop.
