Meet The Woman Who Is About To Be Kate Middleton’s Sister-In-Law

There's a new Middleton on the block

In May 2018, the Duchess of Cambridge welcomed new sister-in-law Meghan Markle into the Royal Family and soon enough, Kate Middleton will have another sister joining the ranks.

James Middleton, the royal’s younger brother, proposed to his French girlfriend Alizee Thevenet in September with the 32-year-old taking to Instagram to confirm the news with a loved up photo of his bride-to-be.

Rumours started circulating that the youngest Middleton sibling was serious about his new girlfriend when they were photographed holidaying in St Barts earlier this year with sister Pippa Middleton, husband James Matthews and their newborn son Arthur.

Prior to that, on Dec. 4 2018, Alizee accompanied James to the Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund’s Christmas Carol Service at St. Luke’s Church. At the event the Duchess of Sussex gave a reading from poem “Our Deepest Fear” by Marianne Williamson.

The two went Instagram official in May with a cute selfie of them sailing together, before attending their first public event – Wimbledon – with James’ family in July.

So who is the newest addition to the Middleton family?

Alizee‘s LinkedIn profile describes her as having a “multinational background” and as having “had the chance to grow up in six different countries: Germany, Indonesia, Chile, France, Belgium and England.”

According to The Sun, the couple first met at the exclusive South Kensington Club when Alizee stopped to pat one of James’ dogs, a Cocker Spaniel named Ella, last year. They then met for a drink a few weeks later.

James previously dated actress Donna Air for several years before the two called it quits.
