Nothing's more stylish than sustainability.

If it takes a royal to remind us to re-wear our clothes then, so be it.

The Princess of Wales has stepped out in one of her timeless wardrobe staples, proving once again, that shopping from your own wardrobe can be just as stylish as wearing something new

All The Times Kate Middleton Has Reworn Her Favourite Wardrobe Pieces

Kate Middleton rewore a blush pink Alexander McQueen pantsuit with a pearl belt, giving it a Barbiecore twist.

The Princess of Wales, 41, first wore the tailored blazer and pants with a white shirt back in 2022 for a meeting with the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

But, stepping out for back-to-back engagements in London in May 2023, she opted for a matching pink blouse, pearl earrings, white pumps and pearl belt, giving a nod to Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie, of which the trailer was released on the same day. The subtle sartorial changes were a brilliant way to rewear an old outfit while harnessing a new trend.

For a recent Business Taskforce for Early Childhood convention at held at London’s International HQ, Kate chose to wear her favourite ivory Alexander McQueen blazer with a matching blouse and black tapered pants. Kate had also worn the blazer on a trip to Jamaica last year, and to the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

But the blazer isn’t the only stylish wardrobe staple that Kate likes to turn to.

On a recent trip to Cornwall, Kate chose to throw on her favourite brown Hobbs coat—an item that she’s been wearing since 2012.

Only a week before, Kate was spotted wearing her beloved cream Fairisle Knit jumper for a conversation with English radio host Roman Kemp at Kensington Palace.

Kate also wore the cosy jumper while promoting her Christmas Carol Concert in December 2022 and during a trip to Durham in April 2021.

As it turns out, the royals see the benefit of rewearing their favourite fashion just as much as us regular folk.

While it helps that Kate has a wardrobe full of beautifully made, investment pieces (see her Alexander McQueen coat dresses, custom-made Emilia Wickstead outfits and Jenny Packman evening gowns), we have to admit that buying less new clothes could help us afford some of those more expensive but longer-lasting items.

Below, we’ve rounded up every time Kate Middleton has been inspired to go shopping in her own closet, for a second, third and sometimes fourth time!
