Just when you thought Princess Charlotte couldn’t get any cuter, Kate Middleton revealed that her four-year-old daughter is a huge musical theatre fan! At Monday’s annual Royal Variety Performance (which, the Duchess of Cambridge looked incredible at), Kate reportedly told performers that Charlotte loves theatre and even puts on little shows at home.

Speaking to Hello! magazine, 14-year-old Mary Poppins performer Nuala Peberby, said: "[Kate] said that her children love performing at home, particularly Charlotte. She told us how lucky we were to be on stage in the West End and asked how we managed to do it with all our schoolwork. I can't tell you how exciting it was to meet them."
Despite Charlotte’s love for the theatre, she stayed at home on Monday night with brother George and younger brother Louis, while the Duke and Duchess enjoyed a date night. Kate said they had been really excited about where she and William were going - particularly the dancing and singing - and asked if they could come but she had to tell them "not on a school night!"
It seems the Duchess’ children’s passion for performing runs in the family, with a video surfacing earlier this year of an 11-year-old Kate performing in a school production of My Fair Lady. The Queen and her sister Princess Margaret have also had their time in the limelight, starring in pantomimes when they were young.
Is Princess Charlotte the next Broadway star? Only time will tell.
