Kate Middleton wears a hell of a lot of hats – Duchess of Cambridge, mental health ambassador, royal patron and fashion icon (Kate Middleton effect anyone?).
First and foremost however, she is a mother of three – constantly impressing the world with her parenting skills and maternal strength.
While the Duchess has been hailed an inspiration for years, it was after the birth of her third child Prince Louis just two months ago, that people recognised her as a true supermum.
The 36-year-old emerged from the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital, just hours after giving birth, in a pair of heels, smiling as she posed for photographs with a full face of make up and perfect hair.
People across the world were amazed by the quick turnaround, especially given that most of us can’t imagine exiting the hospital post-childbirth without a wheelchair and our pyjamas.
This week, another detail was revealed, and to say that it makes Kate seem bionic is a massive understatement.
According to the Daily Mail’s Rebecca English, the Duchess of Cambridge did the school run the day after giving birth to Prince Louis, dropping her eldest son Prince George off at Thomas’s Battersea.
Yes, that’s the day after giving birth.
Thankfully, the Duchess is on her maternity leave, getting some serious R and R – even spotted heading to the Caribbean island of Mustique last week with Prince William, their three children and the Middletons.
Finally! It looks like Kate is having the break she needs.
