Kate Middleton Receives A Surprise Gift For Prince Louis From Tennis Legend

Signed, sealed, delivered

Kate Middleton and Prince William attended the Wimbledon Men’s Single’s Final earlier this week, and while all eyes were on the intense match everybody missed the cutest moment courtside. One-year-old Prince Louis was gifted a pair of Adidas Stan Smith’s, signed by tennis legend Sam Smith himself.

The athlete was seen smiling as he handed the royal umm a tiny, white-and-green Velcro sneaker. On the shoe, Smith wrote “To Louis” in gold, according to Footwear News.

While Louis wasn’t at the match, we’re sure he’ll be thrilled with his new gift. Just last week, the little royal was seen out with his family at a polo match, where he stole the show as he made faces at his mum and played with siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

As royal patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Kate has made a number of appearances of Wimbledon this year. In addition to yesterday’s cameo with William at the men’s singles final, she also watched the women’s final on Saturday with sister Pippa Middleton and sister-in-law Meghan Markle.

Though the Duchess of Sussex wasn’t at the tennis tournament yesterday, she did make headlines for attending the Lion King premiere in London with Prince Harry, where the royal couple met Beyoncé for the first time.
