Kate Ritchie Speaks Out About Marriage Split Rumours

"There’s no point in getting bogged down about what other people think is happening in my life"

Kate Ritchie has spoken out about the impact of ongiong rumours that she and husband Stuart Webb have split.

In an exclusive interview with Stellar, the radio presenter and actress revealed she is no longer hurt by breakup rumours and has a hilarious way to deal with them.

“It doesn’t hurt my feelings, not anymore. I think in the old days it did. There’s no point in getting bogged down about what other people think is happening in my life,” she told the publication.

“The only positive in having the magazines write about my love life is that I know the Hewitts are getting a week off.”

The former Home and Away star added: “It’s me this week! They got you in your tracksuit, did they?”

Ritchie and former NRL player Webb tied the knot in 2010 in Tasmania, The Sydney Morning Herald reports. Their daughter Mae was born in 2014.

“I don’t often share this most precious being but sometimes I am tired of protecting her and want to rejoice in her,” Ritchie said of her daughter Mae on Instagram earlier this month.

“She is full of wonder in so many ways but she also helps me to simply be me, to pat myself on the back, to be patient, to care for other families, to appreciate the value of equality, to make plans, to want to be the best version of me.”
