It's arguably one of the best scenes of the entire movie, but it's left us wondering who Juliet decided to choose in the end. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Keira has revealed (for the first time) that she actually knows who her character ends up with.
“Yes, I know that I stay with my husband!” she said, laughing.
Don't feel too bad for Mark, though. In 2019, writer-director Richard Curtis created a 15 minute short titled Red Nose Day Actually, where it is revealed that he is now happily married to his longtime celebrity crush, Kate Moss. Good for him!
In the same interview, Keira shockingly went on to reveal that she hasn't watched the film since 2003. Obviously she doesn't hold the same level of obsession as the rest of the world, explaining that she finds it weird to watch movies that she's in.
"It's just very odd watching films that you're in! It's just a bit weird!”
We certainly don't understand it, but we've watched the film enough times to make up for Keira.
The actress is currently promoting her latest film, Silent Night, which falls into the horror-comedy genre (and has definitely piqued our interest). In it, she plays a woman hosting a group of friends for a Christmas party, but despite the merriment and festivities, something seems very, very off. Suffice to say, Keira has definitely maintained her status as the queen of Christmas flicks.
