Kendall and Kylie Jenner have once again found themselves amidst a controversy.
This time, it's the duo's line of vintage tees called “Rap vs. Rock” that has caused a stir.
The tees feature pics of the late rappers Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac, along with other celebrated musicians including Ozzy Osbourne, Pink Floyd, KISS, Metallica and The Doors.
The designs were priced at priced at US $125 (about AU $163), and feature prints of the model sister's faces and initials over the top.
Many have taken to the internet to slam the girls for their controversial, and somewhat distasteful tees, including Violetta Wallace, the mother of B.I.G. She took to Instagram to share a loud and clear message to the sisters for using her late son's image without her permission.
"I am not sure who told @kyliejenner and @kendalljenner that they had the right to do this," she writes. "The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me."
She added: "I have no idea why they feel they can exploit the deaths of 2pac and my Son Christopher to sell a t-shirt. This is disrespectful , disgusting, and exploitation at its worst!!!"
And she wasn't the only relative to share their anger.
Sharon Osbourne, wife of Ozzy Osbourne, also made a post about her husband being used without permission.
"Girls, you haven’t earned the right to put your face with musical icons. Stick to what you know…lip gloss," she tweeted.
She wasn't the only Osbourne to weigh in. Daughter Kelly made her feelings known with this Instagram post.
"#CurrentMood" she captioned the photo.
After realising their error, and the furious responses, both Kendall and Kylie issued the same apology via Twitter.
This isn't the first time the Jenner's have faced backlash for their actions - who could forget the infamous Kendall Jenner Pepsi ad controversy?
