As one of the most photographed celebrities in the world, Kendall Jenner knows a thing or two about looking good. Whether it’s on a red carpet or stepping out for lunch, the supermodel is a pro at always looking polished and put together — even if that involves chunky sneakers and a sweater. So what’s the secret to her style success?
Ahead of the Tiffany & Co. Sydney flagship launch on Thursday night, we spoke with Jenner about what it takes to look like her — more specifically, how to do it without breaking the bank.
Citing vintage as her secret, the model dished on the items she can’t go past in the thrift store, naming Levi’s jeans and band T-shirts as favourites.
“I honestly really love vintage and it doesn’t always have to be super super expensive. I kind of like non designer vintage most of the time. Just like cool moto T-shirts, old vintage concert T-shirts, good jeans Levi’s, they always work!” she told us on the red carpet.
Revealing the clothes she can’t live without, Jenner says every woman needs the perfect pair of jeans — and, coming into winter, a great jumper.
“I think it goes probably for most people but a really great pair of jeans that just fit you super amazingly that you can just wear every single day. Sweater weather is sort of over now in LA, but sweaters [are important]… I just bought a couple which was maybe a mistake because summer is coming around now!”
As for jewellery — of which the 23-year-old is a big fan of — Jenner can’t go past picking out a special necklace as a gift. “You can never really go wrong with earrings or a necklace. I think a necklace you can get really personal with,” she says.
We might be able to get our hands on those band T-shirts, but all that’s missing now are the Tiffany diamonds…
