When multiple videos surfaced of Tristan Thompson cheating on his pregnant girlfriend Khloe Kardashian, everyone was pretty sure it was the end of the couple’s relationship. However, since giving birth to daughter, True, Khloe and Tristan have been spotted together numerous times.
Furthermore, Khloe hasn’t moved out of Tristan’s house and back to LA to be with her friends and family, as everyone suspected she would.
Now it seems we know why the new mum has been forgiven, and it all comes down to the birth of True: “Khloé has completely forgiven Tristan for cheating on her, and it really wasn’t hard for her to do because he literally broke down crying in her hospital room after she had given birth to True,” a source tells Us Weekly.
“Tristan was absolutely devastated that he had hurt and betrayed Khloé. Adding to the grief, was of course the timing of when it all came out, the days before she gave birth.”
Tristan even reportedly said that, subconsciously, he thinks he wanted to get caught.
“Khloé has always said that everything happens for a reason, but absolutely loves Tristan,” the source says, adding that “He actually told Khloé he was relieved that it had come out, and that he thinks subconsciously he wanted to get caught.”
He “knew there were paparazzi taking pics of him in New York City, but that didn’t stop him from taking a woman back to his hotel.”
