According to Entertainment Weekly, the BBC America hit will introduce fans to a grand total of seven cast members in the forthcoming installment – and they all boast pretty impressive resumes.

Pedja Bjelac of Harry Potter fame will be joined by Game of Thrones alum Gemma Whelan, who took on the role of Yara Greyjoy, in the cult show.

Raj Bajaj (you may shamelessly recognise him from A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding), will also take to the small screen alongside Camille Cottin (Call My Agent), Steve Pemberton (Inside No. 9), Evgenia Dodina (One Week and a Day) and Turlough Convery (Ready Player One).

There’s no time for a breather, as the television network previously confirmed that Dame Harriet Walter who played Clementine Churchill in The Crown and Misfits star Danny Sapani will also appear in season three.

Quite the line-up, huh?

Of course, that’s not forgetting the power duo who thrust the show into the spotlight.

Without too many spoiler alerts, Jodie Comer, who plays murderous fashion muse Villanelle, and Sandra Oh, also known as MI5 officer Eve Polastri, will reunite on our television screens once more.

Comer first stepped into Villanelle’s stompy Balenciaga boots (and Molly Goddard frills) back in 2018 and the role has since earned her a wardrobe’s worth of shiny accolades.

Continuing the tradition, season three boasts a new head writer with Suzanne Heathcote taking on the coveted position.

“I’m very excited that the Killing Eve baton is being passed onto another incredible writer for season three,” said executive producer Phoebe Waller-Bridge. “We can sleep soundly knowing these characters are safe in Suzanne Heathcote’s hilariously murderous hands.”

Filming for season three is currently underway and will make its debut in early 2020.
