Kim Cattrall Just Addressed The ‘Sex And The City’ Feud Again

RIP Carrie and Samantha

When Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker’s friendship came to an end – publicly at least – over the cancellation of the third Sex and the City movie, months of drama followed with Cattrall alleging Parker bullied her during the series and saying that the actress, who played Carrie Bradshaw on the show, is fake.

Despite months going by, it appears the former co-stars haven’t repaired their relationship with Cattrall speaking out again yesterday, implying that she wishes she’d left SATC behind sooner than she did.

In an interview with The Guardian, Cattrall said, “I went past the finish line playing Samantha Jones because I loved Sex and the City. It was a blessing in so many ways but after the second movie I’d had enough.”

Addressing the drama that followed after she pulled out of the third installment, Cattrall said: “I couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t just replace me with another actress instead of wasting time bullying. No means no.”

Last year, Cattrall took to Twitter to respond to speculation that the a third SATC film had been halted because of her “diva demands,” saying she had said no to the film but writers included her in the script anyway. Then in October 2017, Kim Cattrall said that she was “never friends” with any of her co-stars, before later speaking to the NY Post about her time on the show, saying Parker bullied her for years.
