It's been branded a "flammable/hazardous material"

Kim Kardashian West‘s first fragrance for KKW Beauty has reportedly been labelled a “flammable/hazardous material” due to its high alcohol content.

According to TMZ, international carriers such as FedEx and UPS therefore won’t ship the product to Australia, New Zealand and other countries. Overseas customers have complained that there was no warning on the KKW Beauty website, and the company is in the process of individually contacting those left out of pocket in order to offer refunds.

Kim has been teasing her 105-million Instagram followers with pictures of the fragrance, which comes packaged in sleek crystalline vials, for several months. Customers chose between three signature scents – Crystal Gardenia, Crystal Gardenia Oud and Crystal Gardenia Citrus – and two sizes, 75ml for USD$60 and 30ml for $USD35.

Only 300,000 bottles were produced and they sold out online in under six days. TMZ reports that the juice made $13-million in a single day, before anyone had even had a chance to sniff or spritz it.

Kim took to Instagram to thank her fans for making her launch such a success, writing, “It’s such an honour that you guys trusted me. I know you will love the scent and I can’t wait for you guys to get it. I can’t wait for you guys to tweet me and talk about how much you guys love the scent when you guys receive it.”

Reviews are already flooding in, and Kim seems to have been correct in predicting that customers would fall crazy in love with her floral fragrances.

But unfortunately it looks like Aussie fans of the reality TV mogul will have to wait a little bit longer before they can give her their own feedback.
