Kim Kardashian West is no stranger to dramatically switching up her look. Over the last year, the 37-year-old beauty mogul has sported platinum blonde, bubblegum pink, blue and of course her natural dark brown. It’s fair to say that when it comes to Kim’s ever-changing hair hue, there’s not much we haven’t seen. Until now that is.
On Sunday evening, the reality star debuted a new look that we definitely didn’t see coming. Kardashian showed off her vibrant red tresses on Snapchat. And like that, Kim just set the hair colour trend for 2019 but we already predicted that the next it-girl hair trend would be red.
We’ve already started seeing strawberry blonde and copper-toned tresses popping up all over social media and it’s the colour du jour of it-girls Lara Worthington, Zoey Deutch and Kate Bosworth. If you’re wary of looking “ranga” then it’s worth noting that copper isn’t simply red or orange hair. It’s a cool-toned multi-dimensional hue which makes blue eyes look brighter and gives skin an ever so subtle glow. In fact, Refinery 29 has already dubbed copper the hottest hair trend of the year, citing Hollywood stylists who back the prediction.
