Given she’s the girl who flies her plastic surgeon around the world with her and splashes out on the most insane facial treatments known to mankind, we were surprised to learn that Kim Kardashian’s new beauty must-have is available at your local supermarket.
Her make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic (who happens to be the guy who made contouring mainstream) divulged to the Daily Mail that his new thing is applying Vaseline – yep, Vaseline – to Kimmy K’s eyelids, lips and cheekbones.
“Glossy is the new look,” he says. “Glossy skin, lids and lips. Apply petroleum or glycerin-like products onto lids, cheeks and lips for the most gorgeous glow without powdery texture.”
Make no mistake: Kim has been rocking a radiant, less-is-more look of late. We just had no idea Vaseline was the wonder product behind it all.
Dedivanovic isn’t the only make-up artist loving a glossed up look right now: the S/S ’17 runways were dominated by high-shine, wet-look lids and lips, and just this week, cult-fave Glossier launched the glossiest lip gloss we’ve ever seen.
