STOP EVERYTHING: Your favourite Game Of Thrones duo have officially declared their love and are set to tie the knot.
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, of Jon Snow and Ygritte fame, have confirmed their engagement, reports People.
Kit famously revealed the pair were dating during an interview that he had fallen in love with Rose as they filmed season three. When asked about his favourite season he said:
“Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love,” he said. “If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”
Back in 2014, Leslie also spoke about her relationship with her co-star in an interview with People.
“Kit is a lovely and funny man, and a dear friend,” she said. “We had known each other before we started working together on Game of Thrones. It was always such a privilege to be working opposite him and such a blessing that we get on in real life because it made our characters more believable.”
The actor also spoke about moving in with his girlfriend earlier this year on the Late Late Show With James Corden.
“I’m very, very happy and it’s going well,” he said. “I said to her, because she’s moved into my house, ‘Look, darling. It’s important that this is our space, that it feels like our space, that you haven’t just moved into mine. Move anything you want around, change anything, chuck anything out. I went to the shops and when I came back and said ‘what did you decide?’ And she said ‘we’re moving the kitchen downstairs’.”
In the same interview Kit was pressed by Aussie national treasure Nicole Kidman pressed the actor on whether or not he would propose… guess her prying worked out for the best!
