It seems Vanessa Hudgens knew just what we’re after too, as the actress stars in The Knight Before Christmas (read: the Netflix movie of the season) and the trailer has finally landed.

The tale follows medieval knight Sir Cole (played by Josh Whitehouse), as he is transported through time by a sorceress to present-day Ohio – just in time for Christmas, thank goodness.
As he struggles to navigate the modern world, Sir Cole meets a “clever and kind science teacher who’s been disillusioned by love” named Brooke (enter: Vanessa Hudgens) after she hits him with her car. So far, not so romantic.
Taking him under her wing, Brooke makes it her mission to help the knight return home.

As they spend time together (expect ice skating, festive baking and tree decorating montage scenes), romance begins to blossom between the pair.
But will their love overcome all odds?
We’re pretty sure we already know the answer though we have every intention of tuning in just to double check…
By the looks of the trailer, it’s sure to prove a hit with those who loved Hudgens in last year’s Netflix hit The Princess Switch – where she took on the role of two different characters.
