If You Loved ‘Dead To Me’, You’ll Love Kristen Bell’s New Dark Comedy ‘The Woman In The House’

Prepare to be gripped by this must-watch series

If you loved Dead to MeNetflix’s hugely popular dark-comedy series, we’ve found your next perfect binge.

Kristen Bell has signed on to star and executive produce in the streaming services’ newest dark comic thriller. The eight-episode series is centred around Anna, a heartbroken woman who lives every day exactly the same.

The official description reads, “She sits with her wine, staring out the window, watching life go by without her.”

Anna begins to see a light at the end of the tunnel thanks to her handsome new neighbour. That is until she witnesses a gruesome murder… Or did she?

It sounds like the perfect blend of Emily Blunt’s in Girl On The Train and Christina Applegate’s Dead To Me, all expertly rolled together into an equally as gripping and hilarious watch.

The brains behind the project include Rachel Ramras, Hugh Davidson and Larry Dorf, the trio that previously co-created and starred in the series Nobodies—where Bell also previously guest-starred.

Not much else is known about the series yet, so stayed tuned for more information as its announced.
