Meghan Markle’s sister Samantha Grant made headlines in the past week for her controversial new book, titled The Diary Of Princess Pushy’s Sister.
The book is about growing up with her half-sister Meghan Markle, who is now a successful actress and dating Prince Harry, but mostly focuses on Grant’s life.
Grant has teased the book on Twitter by saying, “Maybe when [Meghan Markle] is more mature and she reads the book she’ll understand some of it. She won’t like some of it.”
While some radio hosts like Dave Hughes sympathised with her situation, calling out Meghan Markle for not visiting her wheelchair-bound sister in nine years, others – namely Kyle Sandilands – took another angle altogether.

On the Kyle and Jackie O show this morning, Grant spoke with Sandilands about how her book would be about ‘history’ and ‘bi-racial evolution’, and Grant explained that the tabloids assumed she would be slamming her famous sister.
However Sandilands fired back, “But isn’t the title The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister?”
Grant quickly launched into an explanation that her background in marketing and promotions means she realises she has to make the book controversial to sell.
Jackie O said, “So you’ll admit you’re using your sister’s fame and her name at the moment to sell this book, which isn’t anything to do with her?”
“No absolutely not, this is my life … this is my personal experience,” Grant replied.

Sandilands was not having it though, and cut her off, hanging up on her.
“Then why didn’t you call the book my boring life?” he said. “Why’d you bring your sister into it? Urrrgh … see you later, you sound like such a bore. I’m not interested. Don’t use your sister’s name to trick media organisations into pushing your sh*t book. You’re gone. See ya — what a loser”
